Scope of sustainability policy

The scope of a sustainability policy includes:

  • An integrated approach to sustainability which includes environmental, economic and social aspects, or a narrower one to focus on each aspect individually
  • The parts of the enterprise to which it is to apply , including whether it is for the whole enterprise, one site, one work area or combinations of these
  • An investigation of the particular business and market context of the industry/ enterprise addressing sustainability initiatives through reference to standards, guidelines and approaches such as:
    • ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
    • Life Cycle Analyses
    • Global Reporting Initiative
    • Ecological Footprint Assessment
    • Triple Bottom Line reporting
    • Product Stewardship.

Our Focus is dedicated to saving energy and being a responsible business, in giving direction of our research and activities of energy reduction. Accountability through a baseline measurement of energy and products used is the first step in the measurement of savings that can be achieved with a number of products available in energy savings with good return on investment
